Jobmail

Mail to students at the University of Zurich

Jobmail is the University of Zurich’s Career Services job newsletter and branding and recruiting service. It tells students about your company, positions vacant, trainee programmes and recruiting events by e-mail. So as to keep mail volume under control, Career Services bundles Jobmail and sends it to students en masse twice every semester.

The mail is especially composed for each faculty, which means it allows you to target the students relevant to your sector. It is sent only to students who have approved receipt of such mails by using a special personal code.

The mail comprises announcements of

  • positions vacant or trainee programmes and
  • recruiting or branding events.

There is limited place available per individual mail.

Mail entries can only be made if an advert is posted concurrently in the jobs exchange, or an entry made in the “Career Events” calendar.

Per faculty, each mail is sent out to the following numbers of students (as of SS2010)

  • Faculty of Economics, Business Administration and IT: 461
  • Faculty of Law: 676
  • Faculty of Science: 345
  • Faculty of Arts: 1916
  • Faculty of Theology: 35
  • Medical Faculty: 491
  • Vetsuisse: 126
  • UZH in total: 4050
