Why a registration?
Our events are open to a limited number of participants. By registering you secure your participation. At the same time you enable us to book a larger lecture hall if there is a great demand for a certain event.
For events, you need to set up a profile on https://uzhcareer.ch prior to register for an event.
For counseling, you need to register by filling in the form here
If you are logged in you will be informed about changes in the event (room changes or similar).
Registered participants receive the course documents by e-mail. But beware: This only applies to those who have attended the event (there is an attendance list).

Events without registration are open to all parties interested.
Information events and workshops with registration are open to students, doctoral students and post-docs of the University of Zurich as well as graduates and students of continuing education (CAS, DAS, MAS) of UZH up to one year after graduation. For individual workshops, the eligibility may be further limited. Depending on booking status, students from other universities or other non-local parties can be admitted to certain workshops. For non-UZH participants higher participation fees might arise.
For events organized by the International Bodenseehochschule IBH special conditions of participation apply.
Our career counseling consulations, CV-Checks and Mock-Interviews are open to students, doctoral students and post-docs of the University of Zurich as well as graduates of UZH only (up to one year after graduation).
Registration for CV-Checks, Mock-Interviews and Workshops is done online. Your registration is definite and binding and will be confirmed immediately with a confirmation email to your UZH email address. Workshop fees (if applicable) are paid directly at the workshop. Students from other universities and non-locals without login have to register by email directly to the course secretariat. You will receive a confirmation of registration if there is still space available or the quota for non-local participants has not yet been exhausted.
The registration for a consultation with a career counselor is made individually by the registration form (Link). For the drop-in, no reservation is required. This offer is only available to students, doctoral students, and post-docs of the University of Zurich, as well as graduates up to one year after graduation.
If you are unable to participate in a booked event (workshop, CV check, mock interview, consultation), you must immediately unsubscribe from the event or counseling so that others interested can move up from the waiting list. If you don’t sign off, you prevent other people from participating.

Canceling a consultation with a career counselor
If you are prevented from making it to an agreed consultation, please contact the career counselor no later than 24 hours before the agreed date.
The events organized by the Career Services are generally free of any costs. For certain full-day workshops, however, a nominal fee may be charged which will be paid directly at the workshop.
There usually is a limited waiting list per event. If a course is booked, we will allocate you a place on the waiting list and inform you accordingly. As soon as a place becomes available, you will receive a confirmation of participation and you will be considered registered. However, if you no longer wish to participate, you must log out online.
Your data will be treated confidentially and not forwarded to third parties.
By participating in the Career Services programme of the University of Zurich, you agree that the Career Services may use anonymised information about study level, faculty and major subject for their statistics and the Career Services may email you for evaluation purposes up to one year after using the offer.
